Growing up without much encouragement to pursue sports, I didn’t have the typical athletic start. However, working most of my adult life in high-stress conflict zones taught me invaluable lessons in resilience, perseverance, and the importance of finding balance in life. Discovering CrossFit was a turning point for me—it became a space where I could challenge myself both physically and mentally, and it showed me the power of transformation through fitness.
I believe in leading by example, which is why you’ll always find me on the floor, pushing myself to become a better athlete. Now that I’m a mom, my mission has taken on even greater meaning. I want to inspire my child by normalizing the pursuit of being the best version of ourselves, both mentally and physically. Fitness has become more than just about strength—it’s about setting an example of living a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
